  8. There are 2 film strip files here: an interpolation file
  9. and a computed file of 24 frames (icons only). These
  10. files are meant to be viewed from within CHANCE'S ART.
  11. However, you can get a fixed speed motion preview by
  12. running the "animate" command script from a shell window
  13. or by double clicking on file's icon in a WorkSpace
  14. directory view window.

  17. The contents are:

  22.     This is a command script to display the files of the
  23.     form "EQN19D.a24.fs.frame*.icon" as a "rock & roll" 
  24.     movie clip. Played this way, via the movie command and
  25.     without the Playback mechanisms of CHANCE'S ART, this
  26.     clip or flip-book is rather small and has no frame
  27.     rate control.

  31.     This is a 3 frame Film Strip with an interpolation
  32.     frame set to create 22 in-between frames.

  36.     This is the 24 frame Film Strip created by the
  37.     "Expand Interpolations ... " command.

  39.     Use the "Playback ..." command from the Animation
  40.     Pull Down Menu to view the animation sequence
  41.     in icon sizes or with pixel magnified icons
  42.     using 2x2 or 4x4 pixel blowups of the icons.

  44.     Playback of full screen images is difficult
  45.     to achieve at reasonable frame rates. It also
  46.     would require enormous disk resources; hence
  47.     CHANCE'S ART uses the icons for a flip book 
  48.     preview of the motion and assumes the expanded
  49.     frames will be put out to video or film.
